Friday Fictioneers: Dream Home

“We got this great place, right on the water.”

“How much was it?”

“All it needs is a woman’s touch.”

“How much?”

“The view is worth a million bucks.”

“How much did we pay for the house?”

“$100,000.”

“Why’s it so cheap? What’s wrong with it?”

“Nothing that a little love can’t repair.”

“Well, we’re getting it inspected right? I don’t foundation problems and a leaky roof.”

They drove to the coast, parking the car in an alleyway right off the beach.

“Private parking! See darling, what do you think?”

“I hope you bought homeowner’s insurance.”
